- Is a 5% buff to damage, health and healing a bad thing? I find myself at a bit of a loss to hear all of the complaints regarding the ICC buff. It seems to be pretty simple, if you want it, use it. If it makes the game to easy, then turn it off. If you fall under the 'well, it's too easy, but you'd be dumb not to use it'... well, then I'm pretty sure that files you under option 1.

- The buff to the players notwithstanding, Blizzard saw fit to nerf 6 bosses inside Icecrown, which leaves me puzzled to be quite honest. The first wing in Icecrown was already quite puggable, so why nerf it... who exactly does that aid? The lowest common denominator in a raid is the pug group and they were breezing through it. C'est la vie in the world of warcraft...

The offended pixels of text have been removed from the game to appease the accusers, with the caveat that The9 is not admitting fault by removing them. - In Activision's annual report to the SEC, they curiously have WoW listed as a risk factor. Clearly the fact that 98% of Blizzards' revenue comes from one source could be troubling if they, perhaps shut the servers off tomorrow, or doubled the subscription price... - While this is still unconfirmed the fine folks over at MMOchampion did some digging, and uncovered the quests for the gnomes and trolls to finally reclaim their capitals. I don't think anyone will be upset if the horrid instance of Gnomeregan finally went away, and to be honest the trolls deserve to reclaim their homeland as well. Of course this is all up in the air, it may just be smoke.

- What's this? Priests upset at ghostcrawler on the forums? It used to be easy to make fun of Jeg about how much his beloved priests cried and waved their hands about in vain, but now that I'm currently one I feel I can offer advice, namely: "STFU" ... I think it's pretty fair to say at some point every class feels shunned and lashes out, but few do it as well as the priests. Apparently they aren't the predominant top of the healing ladder and this is a fallacy. Holy's aoe healing is too weak, and discipline's single target healing isn't as good as paladins. The list goes on and on... Good thing Ghostcrawler is in a particularly feisty mood, and heaps out spoonfuls of QQ-more brand deliciousness.

- Not to be out done by a cloth wearer, the tanking community threw their complaints at Ghostcrawler, citing such irrefutable evidence such as: Blizzard has no idea what they're doing. As such they demanded to know the underlying philosophy for tanks. GC responded, essentially saying: Thanks for your input... but you're wrong.

- You couldn't do this before, but you sure as hell can now! The changes to the dungeon finder system include: insta-vote kick (so you no longer have to wait to prune the group of dead weight), the vote to kick window now requires a reason (that should add much needed humor to instances), and a 30 minute deserter debuff (Sorry David, this is a fantastic change... maybe not long enough!) so those who feel they don't like the 'random' dungeon they got with the 'random' dungeon finder can go sit on it for 30 minutes and pout!

- It seems you cannot stop the black dragonfight after all. Zarhym confirmed there will indeed be another raid instance coming with those bastards assaulting the ruby sanctum. This will be a 4 boss encounter similar to Obsidian Sanctum (where 3 of the bosses are really mini bosses). On a side note, I'll take a chance to win some more Alexstrazsa favor... Giggity.

- Finally some relief for those on servers with grossly unbalanced faction numbers. Coming in the next patch wintergrasp will be on a sliding scale of sorts, where losing matches consecutively will provide advantages in the subsequent encounters, to give those factions even more of a chance. Will it have the intended result? Let's hope so, because everyone needs a consistent chance at free tier gear...

- Ok, show of hands... Who actually enjoyed running Eye of the Storm for the 40 marks you needed to buy that elusive PVP item. Yeah, neither did I. So in that event, Zarhym has good news for you! A streamlining to the battleground system is at hand. No longer will specific battlegrounds award marks, instead you will get honor solely. Also gone are the days of a specific BG daily. Akin to the PVE system, you will now get a random BG that will grant you additional honor and even arena points if your side wins. Who has two thumbs and approves? This guy.

- Dear god... It's true... Jeg's favorite class received a massive nerf to their health pools. We're talking upwards of 2000 health out of pools nearing 40000! This is a travesty, as our valiant poster made the comment, there have been bears with 52000 health. We don't count the fact that bears can't block... or parry... hrmmm...

- So no sooner do paladins get nerfed in a way that will "file paladins back into tanking obscurity" then Deathknight tanks get a 2% stamina buff, along with a buff to the icebound fortitude skill. This has to be an oversight... deathknights don't tank do they? How often do you see a DK running around in tank gear. It's a trap!

- Hardcore raiders rejoice! A new weekly raid series of quests has been added to icecrown for those looking to score extra frost badges, gold and delicious ashen verdict reputation. These will vary between 10 and 25 man, and are exclusive to icecrown citadel (for obvious reasons) but overall it's a welcome change to give another level of difficulty / reward to the game.
